Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you by mandatory consumer protection law. If any term conflicts with such law, the law takes precedence.
To purchase as a private individual, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are under 18, approval from a legal guardian is required. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and for being able to receive messages at the email address and telephone number provided.
ClockMods offers hand-built and, in some cases, customised watches. The product configuration is shown on the product page and through the choices displayed in the product builder or variant selector. Carefully review the case, dial, hands, bracelet, logo, size and all other options before placing the order.
Product images are intended to represent each product as accurately as possible. Colours, shine, proportions and details may appear different depending on the screen, lighting and photography. Minor variations may occur because assembly and components have natural tolerances. Such differences do not automatically constitute a defect provided that the product substantially corresponds to the agreed description.
ClockMods is not an authorised Seiko retailer, and our modified watches are not manufactured, approved or sponsored by Seiko. Where stated, we use genuine Seiko movements together with aftermarket components. Trade marks belong to their respective owners.
The cart and checkout display products, variants, quantities, prices, discounts, delivery and the total before purchase.
When you activate the button clearly indicating an obligation to pay, you place a binding order.
An automatic confirmation is sent to the email address provided. Review it immediately and contact us if anything is incorrect.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order before it has been accepted, for example if the product is unavailable, payment is not approved, the price is clearly incorrect or the order cannot lawfully be completed. If payment has already been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.
We may correct typographical errors, technical errors and clearly incorrect prices. If an error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding so that you can approve the corrected information or cancel the purchase.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on country, currency, order value and technical availability. Payment may be processed by providers such as Stripe or Klarna when enabled. The provider's own terms may also apply to payment, credit assessment, invoicing or instalments.
You are responsible for ensuring that payment information is correct and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. If payment is missing or declined, the order may be suspended or cancelled. ClockMods does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
A watch created through the product builder or ordered with a custom combination is assembled according to your choices. Production may begin shortly after the order is approved. Contact us immediately if you discover an error in your selections. We will try to assist, but cannot guarantee that changes are possible once components have been ordered or assembly has begun.
Under the current ClockMods return policy, special orders and products customised to the customer's preferences are also covered by a 14-day return right. This is a voluntary and more favourable term where the statutory exception for clearly personalised goods might otherwise apply. Full return terms are available on the returns page.
Delivery options, shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout or on the product page. In-stock products are normally dispatched sooner than watches built or customised to order. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by component availability, high demand, the carrier or circumstances beyond our control.
A parcel that is not collected, cannot be delivered because of incorrect customer information or is refused at delivery is not automatically treated as an exercise of the right of withdrawal. You must clearly notify us if you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
If a shipment is returned to us, we may, to the extent permitted by law and where corresponding actual costs have arisen, charge or deduct the cost of return shipping, shipping, administration and handling. Under our shipping policy, the fee may amount to SEK 400 or EUR 40. The fee will not be applied in a manner that limits mandatory consumer rights.
As a consumer, you normally have the right to notify us that you are withdrawing from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. For an order containing several goods delivered separately, the period normally runs from receipt of the final item. The notice must be clear and may be sent through the contact form or by email. You may also use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard form.
Refunds are made without undue delay and within statutory time limits. We may wait until the goods have been received or you have provided evidence of return. Refunds are normally made using the same payment method. Additional delivery costs resulting from choosing a more expensive method than our least expensive standard option are normally not refunded.
Read all return termsIf goods are defective, consumers have the right to complain under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. ClockMods is responsible for original defects appearing within three years of delivery. A defect appearing within two years is normally presumed to be one for which we are responsible unless we demonstrate otherwise or this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect.
Complain within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. Notice within two months is always considered timely.
Provide the order number and clear photographs or video where this may assist assessment.
Do not send the product before receiving return instructions. For an approved complaint, we cover necessary costs as required by law.
The primary remedies are repair or replacement where possible and not unreasonably costly. The remedy must be completed within a reasonable time, free of charge and without significant inconvenience. A price reduction or cancellation may be available under law if repair or replacement is unavailable, not properly completed or the defect is sufficiently serious.
ClockMods provides a six-month warranty on watches. The warranty supplements and does not limit your statutory right to complain or other rights under mandatory law.
The warranty covers manufacturing and assembly defects arising during normal and intended use within the warranty period. Following assessment, ClockMods may repair the product, replace the relevant component or provide another appropriate remedy.
A watch is a precision product and must be handled with care. Keep it away from strong impacts, magnets, chemicals, extreme temperatures and rapid temperature changes. The crown must be fully screwed down or pushed in before contact with water. Do not operate the crown or pushers under water.
Gaskets and seals age and may be affected by impact, servicing and temperature. A stated water-resistance rating is not a guarantee against all water damage. Regular pressure testing is recommended, especially before swimming or extensive contact with water. Hot water, saunas and steam must always be avoided.
If delivery is delayed, we will inform you when relevant information is available. Your rights in the event of delay are governed by applicable consumer law and may, depending on the circumstances, include withholding payment, requiring performance or cancelling after a reasonable additional period.
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by an event beyond our reasonable control that could not reasonably have been foreseen or overcome, such as government action, war, conflict, major operational disruption, natural events, pandemics, labour disputes or serious transport disruption. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
ClockMods is not liable for indirect losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the agreement was made, except where liability follows from mandatory law. This limitation does not apply to personal injury or damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN)
Website: www.arn.se
Address: Box 174, SE-101 23 Stockholm, Sweden
We participate in dispute resolution proceedings before ARN and follow its recommendations. Swedish law applies to these terms without depriving a consumer in another country of the protection provided by mandatory rules in the consumer's country of residence. Disputes may also be heard by a court of competent jurisdiction.
Contact ClockModsWe may update these terms when our business, range, payment methods, legislation or website functions change. The version in force when you placed your order continues to apply to that purchase. The latest version is always published on this page.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. To the extent possible, the invalid provision will be replaced or interpreted in a manner close to its lawful purpose without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
